Arvest Bank Promotes DeBoer to Commercial Loan Manager

Arvest Bank has promoted Scott DeBoer to commercial loan manager. In this role, DeBoer will develop and manage the bank’s commercial loan portfolio in southwest Arkansas. He previously was a senior vice president of commercial lending for Arvest in the bank’s Hot Springs market. 

DeBoer has 18 years of banking experience, during which he has worked as a private banking officer and a commercial credit officer in addition to his role with Arvest. 

He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate from DePaul University in Chicago and is a certified management accountant. 

DeBoer is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Risk Management Association and the Arkansas Bankers Association. He also is a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County.

Arvest Bank Hires Zack Lashley as Business Banker in Mountain Home

Arvest Bank has hired Zack Lashley as a business banker who will work out of the bank’s location at 2619 Hwy. 62 East in Mountain Home. 

Lashley comes to Arvest from Bear State Bank where he has worked as a branch manager and consumer/ commercial lender for the past eight years.  

He is a native of Mountain Home and a graduate of Mountain Home High School. Lashley earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Missouri State University. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Zack into the Arvest family as he joins our professional and knowledgeable team here in Mountain Home,” said Sally Gilbert, market president of Arvest Bank in Mountain Home. “There’s a definite advantage to hiring associates who are familiar with, and invested in, the communities in which we work and we look forward to the great work Zack will do for our customers.” 

Lashley and his family live in Mountain Home.

Arvest Bank Announces Pitts Promotion

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Jessica Pitts has been promoted to consumer loan advisor.

Pitts has experience in a variety of roles at Arvest, most recently as a mortgage sales assistant. In her new role, she will engage in external business development activities, as well as the generation of consumer loans, among other duties.

“Jessica started with Arvest in 2010 and has worked in both retail and lending, and throughout those positions she has always exhibited excellent customer service and a willingness to do what was needed to get the job done,” Arvest consumer lending sales manager Jack Farley said.

Pitts earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and finance at Arkansas Tech prior to joining Arvest. She lives in Clarksville with her husband, Garrett, and their two daughters.

Arvest Bank Announces Oxendine Hiring

Arvest Bank is pleased to announce the hiring of Terra Oxendine.

Oxendine, who has worked in the banking industry since 2006 and as a commercial lender for the last two years, will serve in that same capacity at Arvest. More specifically, she will conduct financial needs assessments and recommend the most appropriate products and services that fulfill customers’ immediate and future financial needs.

Oxendine earned an associate degree from Crowder College. Among other civic endeavors, she has been an award-winning volunteer for United Way and is an advocate for the Children’s Center of Southwest Missouri.

A member of Christ’s Community United Methodist Church, Oxendine lives in Joplin with her husband, Grant, and their two children.

Arvest Bank Promotes Pence in Joplin

 Arvest Bank is pleased to announce Darci Pence has been promoted to the position of associate mortgage lender in Joplin. 

Pence has more than seven years of experience in the banking industry, most recently serving as a mortgage sales assistant. In her new role, Pence will work closely with the mortgage loan manager in the generation, evaluation, approval, processing, closing and servicing of real estate loans. She will be based out of the Arvest branch located at 701 S. Main St. 

Pence, who earned a degree in mass communications from Missouri Southern State University, lives in Joplin with her husband, Shane.
